TAITUNG, TAIWAN

A residence designed to be built in Taitung, Taiwan. The hot and humid climate is considered in the design. By using large windows and doors, airflow is created within the spaces. Black-out curtains are implemented to block out sunlight during peak hours.

Three tones of wood are used to create an interesting, natural look while maintaining a contemporary theme. Eight wooden posts are used to bring luck into the home.
